Indore, Madhya Pradesh based Sanghvi group is the largest wheat milling operation in India. They have 2 companies - Sanghvi Foods Pvt Ltd (SFPL) and Grain Milling Company Private Limited (GMCPL), both of which are in the same business. The group total capacity is 2050 MT per day. The company employs over 1000 people.


The Group has 5 plants for wheat milling – of the them in SFPL and one in GMCPL. The latter clains to have the the highest grinding capacity in India at its Nimrani plant, where it can bill 800 MTPD.


The company supplies to leading companies like Ferrero India, ABMauri, Bunge, Nature Fresh by Cargill India Pvt. Ltd, Pillsbury, KFC, ITC, Pizza Hut etc. The company has also launched its own brand – Silver Coin.


SFPL was incorporated in Nov’87, while GMCPL was incorporated in Nov’06. SFPL has 3 directors – Dinesh Kumar Sanghvi, Rahul Sanghvi and Ashok Patel. GMCPL also has 3 directors – Dinesh Kumar Sanghvi, Rahul Sanghvi and Prasanna Sharma.


During FY16, SFPL reported revenues of Rs 4B (USD 62m) and profit after tax of Rs 70 m (USD 1.2 m). GMCPL reported revenues of Rs 2.7B (USD 43m) and profit after tax of Rs 20 m (USD 0.3 m). The combined revenue becomes Rs 6.7B (USD 105m) and profit after tax of Rs 100 m (USD 1.5 m). The companies have fixed assets of USD27m.
